To the Faculty and Student Body: It is certainly a pleasure to be associated with the students and staff ofRyan Public School. The older I become the more convincedlam that Desire, Hard Work, Dedication and Courage are more important to a tt-.KL student, an athlete, or an adult than is native ability. Ipray that both our students and staff come to realize and recognize these truths. One thing quite true among children of all ages 4 they have one thing in common - they close their ears to advice. They open their eyes to an example, whether it be a simple vice such as rushing ahead of another in the lunch line or more serious things such as showing anger, smoking, or drinkingg but they also notice things that they should do such as being considerate, kind, thoughtfuland patient. May we all learn to have the courage to stand up for what is right even when we are the minority, and we are in the minor- ity many times v but so were Noah and Jesus. Sincerely yours, . TV' dxf-vs, Glynn Martin, Superintendent To the Faculty and Student Body: I wish to thank each ofyou for welcoming me into the Ryan School and for your cooperation in making this a suc- cessful school year. It is my desire that each of our students become a suc- cessful citizen. To accomplish this you must prepare yourself to earn a living, find your place in the community and in so- ciety, as well as finding the proper relationship with Cod. In conclusion, always remember that success is achieved, 9 'fP'-nw-'env not awarded. Sincerely yours, I I jf: ' . if. t 'rf' s i Loyd L. Penick, Principal Math Department

Sedan! Zami President Mr. Robert Huff, Clerk Mr. Robert Tindol, Treasurer lVlr. J. D. Harris, Vice- President Mr. Dalton Benton, Mr. Gerald Hall, lVlr. Arthur Johnson fnot presentj. To The Student Body and Faculty: It has been a pleasure to have been associated with the Ryan School this year, 1967-1968. You students have willingly achieved another year of education. You will never regret this and should always work toward higher goals. An education is the most valuable tool you will use throughout your life. The members ofthe faculty have been most congenial and daunt- lessly carried out their duties. Communities sometimes fail to recognize the fact that their teachers have a great influence on future generations. For the help and guidance you have offered and will continue to offer we are thank ful. For every right there is a responsibilityg for every privilege, there is an obligation. Cordially, .
