Mansfield near Stowe, Vermont and later at Lyndonville, Vermont. The members entered the downhill, slalom, cross' country and ,jumping contests, Mr. Thomas White served as coach of the group.

Third row: john Edgerton, Paul Fuller, Ralph Nutter, Edward Warner, William Smith, Robert Perkins, Stewart Harrison, William Thomas, Bdiigflff Building for next year was the word with the 1947 diamond crew. Graduation took a heavy toll from last season's championship team, and Coach Lloyd Flaitz wisely decided to concentrate on the lower classes with an eye to the future. As the Talisman went to press, the standing of the Raiders in the Rutland County League was third place with three wins and two set, backs. Five veterans who were lost to the team this june are Honorary Captain Dick Laird, joe Davine, Larry Duval, Tom Smith, and Bob Seager, Coming up for service next year will be Dick Clifford, Howie Nason, Bill Grace, Dick Davidson, George Ackley, Rip,' Kellogg and Bill Thomas and three members of the freshman class, Guild, Warner and Sharrow. VVith this experienced group back as a nucleus, the Raiders will have only to hnd a catcher, first baseman, and a pitcher to spell Guild.
