They listened to talks concerning the history of the theater and viewed illustrative worlfc, such as the various types of plays in existence. Additionally, actual work in acting was carried out, the results of which were a 0ne'act play, A Dogs Life, and We Hold These Truths, the latter heing staged with the Mimes Cluh in assemhly. Memhership in junior fvlimes is a stepping stone to Mimes, the senior organization. just as much work and interest is put into this cluh for less experienced drama students, though, as is evident in Mimes. Graduates,' from junior Mimes, plus all juniors and seniors who were interested in drama, constituted this year's organization. They elected as their leaders: Judith Andrews, president, Marilyn Carlisle, vice president, Joan Mintzer, secretary, Darleyne Hart, treasurerg and Charlotte Smith, program chairman. Every meeting was devoted to some activity connected with the theater, malcefup demonstrations, excerpts from, and onefact, plays, talks by the mem' bers on some phase of actingg and discussions of current articles and pictures dealing with drama. Additionally, several demonstrations on the right way to act were given. Two assembly plays were presented, one of which was VVe Hold These Truthsn put on in collaboration with junior Mimes, Also, a childrens play was shown to members of the grade schools and The Hungerersw was entered in the State Play Contest.

As their main project the members adopted a French orphan through the Save the Children Federation. The orphan, jacques Cailloil, lives in Marseilles and like many other French children suffers from the scourge of war.
