JAMES VENNARI Mr. Vennari did his undergraduate work at Salem College where he majored in physical education and social studies. He graduated in 1936. He received his master's degree from West Virginia Uni- versity in 1961. In 1946 Mr. Vennari came to Rutland and compiled one of the best football records in Southeastern Ohio. His record as coach at Rutland was; 96 wins, 26 losses, and 7 ties. Mr. Ven- nari’s overall record shows 145 wins, 32 losses, and 8 ties. He was class A coach of the year in the state of Ohio in 1958. He was coach of the year in the Buckeye League in 1959. Mr. Vennari assumed the principal’s job in 1962. LINDA HALEY Miss Linda Haley came to Rutland High School at midsemester 1961. Linda is an efficient office worker and is a graduate of the class of 1960 of Rutland High School. 9

donald McKenzie This is Mr. McKenzie's second year as executive head of the Norwestern District. Mr. McKenzie re- ceived his B.S. degree from Ohio University and his M.A. from Marshall University. He has taken quite a bit of work beyond the Master's degree in school administration. Prior to his coming to Rutland he was assistant principal at Wahama High School for ten years.
