Of course my husband, as you all know, Is Ronnie Williams who Is now a General Foreman at a steel plant In Marietta. As I was waiting for him to return from work,I heard a knock on the door. I went to answer It and to my complete surprise, there stood Jon Cottrlll.Jon was now a salesman for the Metropol- itan Life Insurance Co. and of course was trying to sell me some Insurance It was time to eat and since my husband had arrived home while we were talking, I Invited Jon to stay for supper. We had a pleasant meal and after supper, when we had our three children In bed,we retired to the living room, my husband said he would like to know where all our classmates were and what they were doing. We found that Jon knew where most of them were, since he had learned about many of them while on his Insurance travels. We've often said that we'd be glad To see thlg day appear But now as we unfold the past We'll leave It with a tear. Our parents who have kept us From that great sea of strife Our teachers who have helped us all To do the best In life. Our teachers patience, time, good deeds Have put us on our way So let'8 remeraoer what all they've said And never go astray. They who told us right from wrong Worked with us everyday It was they, the teachers here Who helped make life so gay. We know that we have done them wrong Someday, sometime, somewhere But they would help us everytime Our load got hard to bear. We've enjoyed ourselves and had good tlmes- Tlmes we will never forget Four great years here we have spent And those four we'll never regret. We will soon set sail on that great sea So brave and strong and bold And wondering every mile of the way Just what our future holds. We'll soon be leaving, It won't be long And thl9 we're sorry to say But don't forget friends, we'll be back At school, to spend a day. Here we are to say good-oye To treasures we hold dear It Is a sad, a sad farewell But kids, graduation, It Is here.
