We went to a concert that evenmg gxven by Andrew He rmangolosk1 When he walked out on the floor, we recogn1z.ed h1m as another one of our classmates ANDY HERMANSON After the concert he told us he had mtended to take up farmmg but after graduatzon changed h1s mmd and started takmg v1o11n lessons because he felt h1s hands were fxtted for somethmg more dell cate than farmmg He had been takmg lessons for flve years and th1s was hls fxrst concert The next mornmg we shopped around and went xnto a store called Pete and Ne1l1e s We were lookmg at some of the new French hats when someone came up and asked May we help you? We turned around to answer and there stood ELLOWENE THOMPSON We were astonlshed Her halr was black but we could st1l1 recognlze her by those lovmg blue eyes and dark glasses She told us ROSEMARY PETERSON was 1n partnershxp wzth her That nlght we took a plane to Be rl1n We were pleased to find a radlo m our hotel room and xmmedrately turned It on A vo1ce announced Th1s IS WOW Copenhagen brmgmg you the new quxz program mtroducmg our dearly beloved master of ceremon1es VENDELL REZABEK Thelr theme song was Charley My Boy The next mornmg we were walkmg down the street and saw a horse that looked 11ke Jerry the rrnlkhorse Suddenly someone Jumped out of a wagon and ran up and put a quart of mllk on the doorstep Anyone could have recog mzed the run as that of LIN DA LEE She and MARJORIE REBHUHN were dehvermg m11k trylng to raxse enough money to start a home for the needy The next part of our tour took us to Mlamx Beach Flor1da Before leav1ng we recelved a letter from MARLENE McDONALD now Mrs Wayne Morlan asklng us to come to v1s1t them When we stopped to see Marlene that afternoon she was very busy takmg care of Pete and Repeat They seem to be l1v1ng luxurlously on then' mcome from a grapefru1t orchard near Clear Water We took a hel1copter to Ind1anapol1s to see the Speedway Auto Races because we read 1n the M1am1 Daxly Mzrror that DEAN CHRISTIANSON was among the 11st of qualzfmg racers It was an excltmg and close game but Dean came out ahead After the race we went up to congratulate h1m and 1.nv1ted h1m to eat d1nner w1th us They gave us txckets to the Chlcago Whzte Sox ball game so we made Chlcago our next stop Low and behold MELVIN WISHMAN was coachmg the team After the game we went up to Slmy s Tea Room where we saw a lady tellmg fortunes by the tea leaves We went over to get our fortunes told She told us we would meet some of our classmates here 1n Ch1cago Back at our table we found WANDA SIMINGTON the owner of th1s tea room wa1t1ng to talk with us We talked to her for awhlle and she told us that LEILA WHITING was a famous artlst here xn Chxcago Z4 a 3 . n u . , . n nn rn , . . 1 D n Q a . . . . - . ,, . . 9 I Q I g . na I1 l n p u - - . g Q g 1 g o 1 a 3 4 o I . ,, . . . . ,, a n o D ' D u - I Q a n I 1 I a u

Class Prophecy My former classmate DORIS SIMONSON and I entered a contest Bake Yourself To Health sponsored by the Robmhood Flour Company We sent rn a decorated cake we had baked and won flrst prxze whxch was S10 OOO 1n cash and a trlp through Europe The f1rst part of our Journey took us to Chxcago As we got on the tram we heard some one playmg the harmonxca The conductor came up the alsle w1th a harmonmca 1n one hand and a tlcket puncher 1n the other hand Good ole PAT McDONALD When we got off the tram 1n Chxcago we went to the alrport to take a plane to New York and found that mstead of takmg an amrplane we were gomg to take a d1r1g1ble The pxlot was our classmate MARY ELLEN VOSS When we landed on LaGuard1a F1eld we hurrred over to the closest newstand to buy pape In the New York T1mes wh1ch we bought we found TOM GRA DY to be the edltor The flrst column we read was a socxety column wrrtten by MRS AUDREY C GRADY We were of course surprlsed to fmd that Audrey and Tom were workmg together for l1fe We checked 1n at the Waldorf Astorxa asked to see the manager and were surpnsed to f1nd Earl Brock walkmg out to talk to us After talkmg to hxm for a short txme we went mto the Drnmg Hall to eat our dmner When the walter went back mto the kxtchen to order our food we got a brlef glance of thexr French cook Suzanne We recogn1zed that fam1l1ar dark harr and knew xt must be BETT WILSON turmg JOANIE AND THE SIZZLING SIX a hot Jazz band Joan1e always d1d 11ke jazz music Followmg th1s we retlred for the mght because we were to sa1I at 1 30 ln the mornmg We asked to be called at 7 30 a m and were pleasantly sur pnsed that mornmg to hear a famxllar volce saylng Good Morrnng It s 7 30 It was AUDREY WUNN Audrey always saxd she was golng to be a telephone operator but we never expected to fmd her here We got dressed and went down to eat breakfast After breakfast we called a taxxcab to come plck us up at 8 30 When we arrlved at the pxer we went dlrectly to the boat After settlmg down m our comfortable cabl rooms someone knocked on the door It was the captam NILA BRA WNER She had heard we were commg and planned a dance in honor of us featurmg Elaine s Ballet She then surprzsed us by saymg thls was one of our old classmates ELAINE PILQUIST We arrwed ln Lxverpool England the followxng Thursday After lookmg around for awhxle we decxded to go get somethlng to eat Durxng our conver satxon wlth the owner of the restaurant where we ate lunch we found that the Stewarts had been restored to the throne of England After further questxonmg about the new Kzng and Queen we learned that our old classmate HELEN STEWART was the new beloved queen Z3 . . . . . , l a ru . .
