I . . . . i . , an - sv - 1 - - r - ' I ' I beginning the second half of our trip and were now allowed II1 on some of the things that the higher seated people did We flew with Mrs Logan durmg this lap and added quite a few people to our little group The new ones were Elaine Pilquist Marjorie Pilquist Jon Cedarholm Marion Feissler and Wilmer Feissler We also welcomed Tom Grady back again Joan Saeuglmg spent this part of the trip with some people in Guttenburg Iowa Mrs Hazel Logan remained as our pilot in the eighth part of our trip The new passengers were Doris Slmonson Alma Langfit Mervonne Garrelts Earl Brock and Dean Christiansen We also welcomed Kathleen Brennen and Joan Saeugling back Marion Feissler Wilmer Feissler John Lmebarger and Jon Cedarholm are no longer on the plane with the rest of us At the half way mark our plane stopped to refuel and we welcomed two more friends They were Hazel Biggerstaff and Leila Whiting Then we began the trip through the last four laps of our journey which also led us through the four best years of our lives We chose Andy Hermanson Pres1dent Linda Lee Vice President and Mar11ynCronwall Secretary Treasurer as our officers in flight The top commanders were Mr L J Cronwall Supermtendent Miss Irma Davidson Principal Mr Donald Hahn Mr Sherwood Rowlands Mr Bert Kruse Mrs Nora G Tripp and Mrs Mildred Largey Sophomores with a skating party at Arnolds Park The newcomers to our ship this year were the following Andy Hermanson Dean Grethen Betty Wilson Vendell Rezabek Bonnie Peterson Virginia Nissen Nila Brauner Wanda Slmington Mable Schnell Audrey Clasing and Doris Baxter Tom Grady IS gone again but Mervonne Garrelts and Alma Langfit spent part of this year with us before both decided on a dif ferent plane for the remainder of the journey Now we are Sophomores' We gave the Freshmen a good initiation this year and then received a very nice theatre party in Spencer from them Edna Westergard from Graettmger is with us for the remainder of the trip Tom Grady is back again and this time it 1S for good though we bid Marilyn Cronwall and JoAnn Whitman good bye At the half way mark of this leg of the trip we said good bye to Dean Grethen and Betty Smith and said hello to Marlene and Pat McDonald This year the officers xn flight were Tom Grady President Doris Baxter Vice President and Linda Lee Secretary Treasurer We had a new crew of com manding officers They were Mr C S Mayhew Supermtendent Mr Donald K Sunde Principal Mr J E Hoekstra Mrs Evah M Skarr Miss Frances T Wyman Mlss Esther Schram Mrs Mildred Largey and Mrs Nora Tripp 18 . . . , . . . . , , . . , . . . .
