STUDENT COUNCIL CONDUCTS SERVICE PROJECTS N914 Government of the students, by the stu- dents, and for the students is the purpose of the Student Council. The Council is composed of the repre- sentatives andpresidents of the four class- es. The p r e s id e nt , vice president, and secretary-treasurer of the stud e nt body are elected in the spring, before the end of school. The door of membership into the Nation- al Honor Society is opened by scholarship, leadership, character and service. Membership into the N.H.S. is one of the highe st achievements anyone can obtain while at Central. Each year the club is in charge of two inductions. The fall cere- mony is f or the induction of seniors, and the sp ring ceremony is for the induction of juniors. Members of the Honor Society are always mindful of keeping the Torch of T ruth and Honor ever burning before them. Revision of the Blue and White Hand- book is the main project of the organi- zation. Each year also, the club sends delegates to the State Convention. Speaking of honor . . N.H.S.
