The I-hstory of the Class of 1925 D VAN ORMAN I remember not long ago slttlng on the front seat of one of our huge transcon tlnental busses thlnklng of the four shlfts and the labor put forth before the bus reaches perfectlon and when I was chosen to write the Class Hlstory the thought of the gradual assumlng of nts speed made 1 VlXld comparxson w1th the class of 25 I take for the Freshman Class the very lowest shlft and thus l1ke the marvelous vehlcle the class galns untll It attalns 1ts ultlmate speed ln the Senxor year L1ke all Freshmen classes we were 1n low kldded and r1d1culed by our frlends the senlors who through years of d1l1gent study UD had found the keynote to suc cess and l1ke some other Freshmen class es we attalned a favorable degree of pros perlty ln relatlon to our cake sales and the debatlng team In second speed we were drlven at a hlgh rate by Presldent Davle through a credltable season of athlet1cs and soclal affalrs We held our own 1n debatlng and our first play Nothlng But the Truth took 1ts place as one of the best ln the hearts of our fellow students Agaxn we malntalned our reputatlon ln all soclal events maklng '1 paltlcular success of the Fresh Soph dance Once more we changed our speed and an unu ually successful year was the re sult In our th1rd year led by Paul Aue we all but reached utopla 1n the presenta t1on or the soclal and financlal succes Chrlstopher Junlor We also accredited ourselwes ln '1 favora le fashlon on Class Nlght Instead of g'1YII1g' the Senlors the customary prom a trlp up the Hudson was enjoyed In hlgh gear we found a smooth steady progresslve pace As hard yet unfxssum mg workers We have formed the back bone as a Senlor class should of all the athletlcs both the Rutherfordlan and Blue and Whlte a goodly port1on of the Servlce League the Frankl1n Forum and the Epsllon Tau Delta Lastly all through the four years of fun and oclal l1fe we have managed to avold the U s and P s wlth the result that we have fourteen 1n the class who stand YVIIZII an average above 85 , Even as I wrlte we have sllpped 1nto neutral and are coastlng toward Com mencement We have completed our trlp and the much deslred place of Senlors awalts the Class of 1926 Semor Class Prophecles DOROTHY APT Dot w1ll become a Hlp podrome Performer She vull startle her audlence by her llfe hke sketches of fam ous Rutherfordlans HERBERT ARMSTRONG--Herb w1ll reallze hxs parents deslre by becomlng the presl dent of the Unlted States JOHN ARONIAN John w1ll outclass the famous Smlth Brothers by h1s classlc beauty and w1ll feature ln an add for Aronlan s Marcel 50 dollars per head ESTELLE AUE-Stlt belng thwarted 1n her amb1t1on to become edltor of the Mon day MOFH1Hg Dlsplay WIII establlsh a home for Cunnlng Carefree Canaries and to these she w1ll devote the rest of her 1 e GERTRUDE BARON Gert w1ll astonlsh the fem1n1ne world by revealing the fact that she has orlglnated the famous Slogan A Skm You Lowe to Touch LOUISE BIVONA LOUISE w1ll start a 1 ' , L L, 7' c ' L' L'L' K L - L, - n 1 ' 1 . . c L, S Q L'L L ' 1 L . , ' s 9 1 1 . .
