We feel that this year has had a special character because of the numerous changes which have occurred in the high school. Some of these changes are illustrated on the previous page, the transition to the loaded locker Qthey were already full enoughj, the hopeful hop to I-layes High, and the substitution of Peppy Pacer for Willy Panther Qnot only did he bring a new look but new luck as welll. This year has had as characteristics many confusing circum- stances, many changes necessitated by our schedule, many com- plaints and many compliments. All these are depicted in our calen- dar section which follows. The Delhi's new look for this year is an exciting attempt to capture the unusual and interesting events of this year as th-ey happened rather than simply picturing the same groups as in past years. We have adopted the asterisk as a symbol of emphasis and as a variation we are employing the star as a symbol of change, not only for this year but for the book as well.
