Wel'ayTrihuteTo... PROFESSOR WILLIAM C. SKELLEY Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry Professor YVilliam C. Skelley was more than just a Department Head at Rutgers, he was a personal friend to every student who had contact with him. He gave un- stintingly of himself to make life a hit happier for others, and he never lost the zest and enthusiasm of youth. Pro- fessor Skelley was always ready to offer aid and encour- agement to a needy student. And if the advice from his heart was insufficient to solve the problem, he never hesi- tated to give from his pocket. To Bill Skelley there could be no more fitting memorial than this picture and the following Words of one of his students: VVe gave freely of our love, as to a friend. 8
