We were young Then in our ideas ol college liie. We were all sTeeped in The enThusiasm oT long anTicipaTion. BuT we now Tind ourselves in The same place relaTively. JusT as we graduaTed Trom our high schools and looked lorward in all our idealism Towards a college career, so we now graduaTe Trom college, looking Torward To whaT we inTend To do in The world. As a class we were green on ThaT SepTember day Tour years ago. We admiT ThaT now. Perhaps we were as green as The resT oT Them. Then as sophomores we were sophisTicaTed-experienced beyond our experience. During The iunior year we musT admiT we passed Through The Typical sTage oT pre-graduaTion superioriTy. Through iT all we held The usual conceiTs oT all classes. Our class hisTories are wiTness oT The TacT. Each year as The ScarleT l.eTTer appeared we claimed, along wiTh The resT, To be The cream oT The aThleTic Teams, To be The besT in exTra- curricular acTiviTies, and To run The besT social TuncTions. Now, as seniors, we Take The broader posiTion oT aTTribuTing whaT we are To RuTgers. ThaT is The hisTory oT The class.
