Under the able dir- ection of Mrs. Durkee, many Prep students worked diligently from early October to the beginning of December. Practices were held every Thursday during Activities Period in the study hall. It was the common sound to hear the Clec Club members humming Christmas Carols and anthems through the halls of Prep. All the hard work culminated in a Christmas Concert held on December 7. The gym was filled with eager parents and friends and the spirit and magic of Christmas time were in the air. Mr. Moffat and some ofthe boys had set up a stage, and Christmas trees placed near there added to the Christmas feeling. The Clee Club sang about fourteen sel- ections. Bobby Fiermonti's solo, 'LSweet Little Jesus Boy , was well received by everyone. Mrs. Durkee also sang a solo as a part of I Wfonder As I W7ander.,, The chorus from the Lower School also participated in the program. Essential to the success of the program, was Mr. Dumarae, the faculty advisor, who worked diligently each rehearsal. A lot of credit belongs to the two pianists, Nancy Haworth and Betsy Kady.
