ALVIN EUGENE SHERMAN Al came to Prep three years ago from Midwood High School in Brooklyn. He has been very active during his three years at Prep, and has participated in football, baseball, basketball and the Glee Club. Flying is Al's hobby. He plans to further his education at Brown University. Glee Club II, III, IV, Baseball II, III, IV, J. V. Football II, III: Football IV, 1.V. Basketball II, III: Basketball IV. HENRY LLOYD SNYDER, JR. Hank came to Prep this year from Flemington High School with a smile on his face and a laugh in his heart. With such outstanding characteristics it didn't take him long to win many new friends. He did this so well that they didn't even complain about the cowboy music that was constantly emanating from his room. Glee Club IV. JOHN IRVING STRYKER, JR. Quiet, with a ready smile for all, John spends a great deal of time on his studies, a fact which can easily be seen by his marks. Fond of hunting, trapping and baseball, he also devotes much of his time to these things in the proper season. John intends to study agriculture at Rutgers University next year. J.V. HAMILTON MERCER WRIGHT, III Ham came to Prep two years ago from Park Ridge High School. Since that time he has made quite a name for himself through his extra curricular activi- ties. Ham, a fun loving fellow, has always been on hand to participate in the decoration of all dances. Next year he will attend St. Lawrence University where he will take up business administration. J.V. ARTHUR THOMAS YOUNG Art Young, better known as Cookie to his fellow Prepsters, previously hailed from Vlloodbridge High School. Cookie's favorite pastime is drawing, and his works of art may be seen on book covers, and any blank piece of paper that happens to be around.
