mirfr 611155 af I 963 The senior year at Ruston High is an end and a beginning. It is the end of our high school career, and the beginning of life as adults with the wonderful background our high school has given us. A senior must watch as the underclassmen assume responsibilities in the school that he once had, and yet is happy that he can look back and see that he contributed to the growth of Rus- ton High. Although seniors are eager for graduation, they are also hesitant to leave the school where friends, 'both student and faculty, have been made, and where they found that learning is fun, As seniors, we realize with a sad feeling in our hearts that we will be doing everything for the last time this year: our last Pepette trip, our last football game, our final basketball game, our last pep meeting as a student of Ruston High. We are going to miss all the fun and the joys of our high school days, but we are eager to have our hand at the future. The world is ours! We are ready to face the world of tomorrow, our world. As students move out into society, they will all make their contributions to the world we live in. Much of their success in their future life can be traced to the development of their charac- ter, intellect, and fellowship at their alma mater, Ruston High School.
