Geography provides a solid foundation in the geographical features of the world. Many things about our state, federal, and local gov- ernments and our rights and duties as citizens are taught in civics. The history of the United States is discussed in detail in the American History classes. A new part of our curriculum this year was the corn- parison of democratic life and socialistic life in Ameri- canism Vs. Communism. The development of the entire world is covered in general history. Economics is a vital and interesting course offered to seniors. It prepares them for life on their own. Sociology, offered the second semester of the senior year, ex- plores social behavior patterns and laws and enables us to understand other people as well as ourselves. When you quote me, quote me exactly! Two new members of the faculty compare notes on current events. Going someplace? -
