OFFICERS Peggy Neighbors Merle Talley Al Blankinship Dianne Blanks Vice-President Chaplain Historian Secretary Sylvia Crist Faye Knight Treasurer President Miss Phillips and Mrs. Stone, Advisers SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY During the years which we have spent in high school, our class has taken part in the usual activities which are available to lower classmen. Members of our class have played on both basketball teams, Junior Varsity basketball, and on the baseball teams both years. Several of the girls have served as cheerleaders, and this year's girls' team made a fine showing by entering the basketball tournament. Anumber of our class members have made a real contribution in the literary field. Several have taken part in one-act plays during the last two yearsg essay contests have been enteredg various other phases of Forensic activities have been represented by this iclass, and they have consistently made unusually good records for themselves and for the school. It has been a real pleasure to know the Lynchburg students who have been in our school, and it is with a note of sadness that we must bid them goodbye this year. We wish for them an opportunity to continue to be of service in their new location. Z0
