President Treasurer Mrs. Robertson, Mr. DePew, Advisers JUNIOR CLASS September 14, 1953, was a big day in the lives of thirty-three teen-agers who entered high school forthe first time. This eighth grade class soon fell intothe high schoolroutine, and chose Betty Wilkinson to be president, aided by David Brown, Jane Lee and Robert Ralph. The following fall the doors of the new high school building opened to receive the largest Freshman Class inits history, with many new faces of those who transferred from Brookville. Clyde Smith, Patsy Elliott, Linda Thurston, Lawana Arrowood and Dot Harreitl were our offi- cers, When we became Sophomores, about all we could think of was looking forward to becoming Juniors, and during this year our class took much of the credit for a winning basketballteam. We took part inall the activities of the school and had the time of our lives learning many new things. Summer vacation soon came toan end, and we found ourselves full-fledged Juniors, with Dot Harrell, James Seay, John Woody, Carolyn Hodnett and Joan Edelsteinas officers, In Marchthe Seniors very graciously entertained us with a Ring Dance, presenting our rings to us in a unique andbeautiful setting. Along with our Sock Hops, Square Dance, and Play production, we hada very busy year, winding up our part by entertaining the Seniors with the long-awaited Pron During our next year we shall have opportunities to make many worthwhile contributions to our own ways of life, as well as that of the school,
