Thirty Seniors began the final year with Mr. Fenimore as adviser. Steve Thompson was chosen President, and the first time we made a real impact was when Larry Williams was elected King at the Bazaar. After many weeks of rehearsal, 'H.M.S. Pinafore was presented under the direction of Mrs, Mary K. Andes. Audiences attending the two per- formances were quite surprised to see and to hear Clarence, Steve, Bobby and Lizzie in the leading roles, ably supported by all the Seniors and many ''extras'' from throughout the high school. Then came the Beta Convention in Richmond; some of us will never forget Joyce's ''calypso in front of the eleva tor, while she was looking for her ticket to the dance.
