iim. cps LR, s « 2 . eS i SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS Mary Brockenbrough Virginia Hight Virginia Cyrus Ann Turner Robert Peak Vice-President Sec.-Treas, Reporter Historian President Mr. Evans, Mr, Moorman, Advisers SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY This year marked the merging of two separate groups into one class, when the students of Brookville High School entered Rustburg for the first time, As Freshmen last year, we Rust- burg students numbered only twenty-three, Nina Calohan was elected President of the class, while at Brookville the Freshmen elected James Overacre as their leader for the year, Al- though there were ninety-seven in the class at Brookville, only a portion of these students were transferred to Rustburg, and the combined classes numbered about fifty when we entered our Sophomore year, Like other classes, we were looking forward with a great deal of interest to the new associations and the use of the new building, We were very much impressed with the Science Department, with the rooms especially equipped for all phases of study in that field,
