JUNIOR Louis Cowart Secretary Hilda Lee Barbara Tweedy President Vice-President September, 1951, was important for twenty- six noisy Freshmen who took their place in high school for the first time. Mrs. Harvey Wilson sponsored our class. Kathleen Elliott was our class president. The year was highlighted by the Farm Show, a class party at Louis Cowart’s home, and the election of Peggy Blankinship and Phyllis Wooldridge to the May Court. September, 1952, found only twenty-two of us enrolled, with Mrs. Wilson again our sponsor, and Freddie Keesee our president. We especially remember the Farm Show, Christmas Program, F.F.A.and F.H.A. Banquets, and class parties. September, 1953, showed only fifteen en- rolled. Mrs. Annie Martin was our home room teacher, and Hilda Lee became our president. We shall be Seniors before many months, but this year we have the thrill of getting our class rings, presenting the Junior Play, and participating in the several Junior and Junior- Senior events.
