This society was or- ganized under the sponsorship of our own Stu- dent Council and our superintendent, Mr. J. G. Edwards. The purpose and objective of this society is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimu- late a desire to render service. to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in the students of the Russellville High School. Eligibility for membership in the society is based on academic work. character. leadership, and ser- vice. The students above are charter members, and Mr. Hackley is advisor to the group.
