Liha Scrivner Newspaper Staff The object of this council is to represent the student body in the promotion of a planned pro- gram of student activities and to co-ordinate student interests and faculty supervision, to the end that a better understanding of the ideals of democracy may be accomplished. We promote student activity programs. We direct club and social programs. We welcome visitors. We sponsor our honor society. We set up and maintain the student honor roll. We encourage better student citizenship. We, THE WAR WHOOP staff of 1954-55, are happy to dedicate this school publication to our newly-organized Student Council. We are proud of our Council, their rules, regulations, and objectives, and the progress they have made thus far in this new venture.
