A x Xa, 'X ,Q V 1,1 .Y fl jf .h 'L' we M f.. ., 'T' ' Q f i' fx unzor 51,55 Lcerd ,gen rib C XC 7 Edn Ott Viola Fischer Iresloe t Vice Ire idea: -.53 A af' W 1' Tet ' MVN 1' Henry Heidbreder Jr Ruth Bli ecretffa Treasurer Reporter Junior Colors Purple and Gold Motto 'Honor waits at Labor's Gate W Flower Yellow Rose The Junior Class, consisting of 19 members, has successfully com plated three years in high school Our Junior year will live long in our memory because of the many activities ln which we have participated In November the entire class sold magazines This drive was spon sored by the Curtlss Publishing Co Our goal was set at 9200 which was reached and exceeded We received a L01 commission of the S321 25, which we sold With a portion of this we bought a piano for the school Our play, 'Pigtails' with the cast headed by Edna Ott and Lowell Flessa was presented in Aprll Another event that lingers ln our memory is the Junior Senior Banquet which was given in May Two of our members, Ruth Bliss and Leroy Shlkles, were chosen as school queen and king Our class has given some of its members to the field of athletics Henry Eeidbreder, Leroy Shlkles, Palmer Sheperle, and Harold latheis played on the basketball teams Matilda Hager, Margaret Malzner, and Bonnadell Plummer were on the volley ball team There were two of our class members on the annual staff Harold Mathels and Marjorie Morrow The majority of the Junior class are members of the Athletic Assc lation Our Vice president, Rufus Kelsey, moved to the Eugene community during the latter part of the year The class then elected a new vice president Viola Fischer Our sponsor, Miss Anna Campbell, ls e kind and patient adviser, whom we appreciate very much Due to illness at home, Miss Campbell was unable to attend regularly. The class appreciates very much the assistance given us by Mrs. Gall Scott and Mrs. Elmer Strobel.
