Friends is a meaningful word at RMS. This school is made up of friends, caring and being there for each other. Our friends help us make it through the tough times, like when we lose the big game or break up with the one we thought we loved. The friendships we all make in high school serve as a basis for all personal relationships we make in the future. Keep smiling, keep shining, knowing you can always count on me for sure. That's what friends are for. Karri Hall shows her pretty smile as she rides on a float with two friends hi the Tobacco festival. RHS Students show concern at the City Council Meeting. We love you, too, Mr. Mason; and you can't get mad at us for invading your privacy since your daughter Kelly took this shot of you stealing a kiss from your wife. Extracurricular Activities: Just as sports and academics contribute to the preparation of RHS students for their future, so do activities that take place outside school. These activities involve our students with the community, through things such as musicals, plays, pep rallies, and bonfires. Events such as these give students at RHS a chance to experience diverse elements. Socializing is perhaps the strongest element. Unfortunately early in the school year, students were challenged to find a solution for barriers placed on their socializing when a parking lot ordinance was levied against them. The Club Third Dimension came to the rescue by providing teens a place to dance and socialize. The tradition to party at RHS is alive and well. Faculty and staff members also enjoy extracurricular activities from time to time. Remember Ladies and Gentlemen, you saw it here first: the two greatest table tennis players. Yes; it’s Coach Barrett and Mr. Mullen. What form! What style! Ellen Boyd, Kristy Kemp and Robert Kemp listen intently during discussions of the Parking Ordinance. Is Mrs. Brantley pregnant? You know she is.
