MWEmEi-waniwaimmy ' DEAR MR. SHADDIX: You have dedicated yourself to being the principal of Russell High School for nearly fifteen years, and we, the student body, feel that you should be com- mended. A letter such as this could nev- er fully express our deepest gratitudes and thanks. We hope this letter will, however, serve as o token of our love and appreciation for you to look back upon in the years that lie ahead. Not only have you been our leader- you have been our friend. Out of love, you disciplined us when we did wrong and were compassionate with us when we needed a shoulder to lean on. We have greatly benefited from your years of hard work and education, even though some of us have not yet realized this. You have helped mold us into the re- spectable young adults that we are now becoming, and you have influenced our fu- tures. We know that we haven't always deserved a man such as yourself, but we thank the Lord that we were blessed with your presence. We are the fruits of your labors and long-sufferings. Whoever fills your place as the head of the school will neither be able to fiII your shoes, nor the places in our hearts. WE LOVE YOU AND RE- SPECT YOU, AND WE WILL MISS YOU DEEPLY. Sincerer, The Student Body of Russell High School
