STUDEN T COUNCIL The Student Council of Russell High School is a unified body of representatives from each grade level. The purpose of this organization is to promote student participation and provide leadership. This group is a bridge between the faculty, administrators, and student body. The student council for 8485 was involved in several activities: 1. Sponsored homecoming events. 2. Provided Christmas refreshments for teachers. 5, Visited elderly at Crestview Nursing Home. Provided fruit-basket for residents. 4. Spearheaded fund-raising drive to purchase copies for teachers and students. 5.
