FBLA is one of the largest organiza- tions at Russell. To be a member, stu- dents must have an interest in expanding their business skills. During each athletic season, students run the concession stands to earn money for FBLA and the athletic department. Anchor Club membership is designed for enthusiastic and dependable 10th, 11th, and 12th grade girls. As part of their community activities they visited nursing homes, and collect- ed and distributed food baskets. The Anchor Club has provided community and school service. The Spanish Club is an organization of two-year students who are interested in learning more about the language and customs of Spain This year's club has had successful parties serving Spanish refreshments while singing Spanish songsi As part of their fund raising they sell candles and Calendars,

Founded T785 The HERO Club consists of students enrolled in Occupational Home Economics The members work at school and ieceive 0n the job training. They worked on individual and club related projects to become better members of their home, club, school and community, Under the sponsorship of Catherine Partington the HERO Club was one of the more active groups at RHS, The Diversified Cooperative Training Program TDCTT is a supervised occupational training work- study program to develop basic occupational competencies for subsequent employment in trade or industry. Two DCT members, Pat Kee and Trent Currie participated in contests at the South Fulton Vocational School in February of 1985. The annual employee-employer banquet was held in the spring. The Advanced Mixed Chorus gave two great performances at the PTSA meetings this past year. This group of performers also participated at the East Point Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration The performance given at the Spring Concert was an outstanding success.
