Like to Dedicate This Yearbook t0 . . . Mrs. Shirley Seawright When the Annual Staff decided to dedicate this year- book to Mrs Seawright, we collected information and comments about her. Some of the comments were so enthusiastic that we decided to quOte some of them. She goes out of her way to help anyone in any and every way She never does anything halfway. When she takes on a project, no matter how large or small, rest assured, it will be completed on time and in tip-top shape. She is dedicated-to her students, to her collegues, and to her job. She is so organized!! Without her help and support, I might not have made it through my first year of teaching,

The 1985 Pointer ORGANIZED, PROFESSIONAL, AND ENTHUSIASTIC are worthy adjectives, and these adjectives were often used to describe the recipient ofthe 1984-85 Pointer dedication, This faculty member has been an exemplary teacher for twenty-eight years. Our honoree has been a guiding force to many a typing and business student, and has been an outstanding leader in the field of business education. She has been a key supporter of the Future Business Leaders ofAmerica tFBLAi and Russell High Schoolr She is always Willing to help where needed, and is often seen at sporting events selling drinks, candy, and hot dogs at the concession stand. Her years of service to education total to twenty-eight years. In the twenty-two years that she has been at Russell, she has always main- tained excellence in the classroom. She has encouraged her students to perform to the best of their abilities, and to strive to reach their potential.
