As an annual tradition the student council tries to sponsor the most festive and spirited Homecoming possible. All of this is a challenge in itself; but it is even more difhcult when nature and superstition are the competition! What could be worse than a rain storm on Friday the 13th? Despite what others may say, such forces never dampened the spirit of RHS's students, aiumni, faculty and friends. The parade was happy despite the many tears over the failure of the Junior class' Hoat to enter the parade. As the many rain clouds began to appear above the stadium on Homecoming night, people still had faith in the idea that everything would turn out to the best. It did rain indeed but that only made observers appreciate the spirit, efforts, and unity that went together to make the 1978-79 Homecoming the best ever.
