SENIOR CLASS In September7 1936, we were happy that the dreams of seven long years were realized, and we were Freshmen of Russell High School. The many difficulties which we first encountered were soon over7 and we began to enjoy the many' activities of our new Alma Mater. It was in our fresh- man year that the Manual Arts Building was opened for classes, making it possible to get practical training in woodwork, mechanical drawing, and other related fields. When we were Sophomores, we naturally made more progress in the various activities of Russell. In our Junior year the Diversified Cooperative Training Course, provid- ing an opportunity for boys and girls to gain practical experience in some Worthwhile occupation or trade while completing their high school work, was begun. We travel this, our Senior year, with a mingled feeling of pride and regretepride, that we have achieved knewledge to help us on our way; regret, that our last milestone in high school will soon be passed. As we leave, we carry with us precious memories of four happy years among our friends of the faculty and student body at Russell. BARBARA DANIELS.
