The rocks and reefs around us whirled, The foams came dashing high, Yet we drove on through all this swirl And passed all dangers by. Our way was blocked by many snares, Our future 0ft grew dim, But we were victors through our dares, For we fought with greatest vim. The way grew shorter than before Our journey was to end, The future held a waiting door Just past the river,s bend. The goal was won by trials fought Which often seemed severe, But now that we are safely brought We hold them very dear. Now, as we stand upon the shore And view lifeis far-wide land, We,ll strive as we have done before To conquer foes at hand. SARAH IVEY, 733. xi; -iagyrdayrwy; -e - - - ere- - e - -'- ewe e; .....
