Benjamin Russell's vers first Miss B.R.H.S. is Tonya Spears. Tonya serves as the President of the Student Council and President of the Key Club. She is also a B.R.H.S. majorette and a member of the B.R.H.S. concert band, the Hi-Y. the National Honor Society, and the Math Team. Tonya enjoys reading, twirling, swimming, playing the oboe, listening to music, and being with friends. She plans to attend either Auburn University or Georgia Tech and pursue a career in pharmacy or engineering. After winning the ICF award, the girls went on to Nashville, Tennessee, for the International Open Cheerleader Competition. This was the first varsity squad from B.R.H.S. to ever attend IOCC.
