During this Space-Age the cry for education rings out through all the nations of the earth. People of the modern world are eager to grow in learning as new frontiers unfold before them. To this educational pursuit BRHS adds an important step. The philosophy of BRHS is to prepare all students, whether they be college-bound or not, for their future. There are science, math, and English programs designed for students who wish to go into these fields. For students who wish to enter the business world, there are commercial subjects, such as typing, shorthand, and bookkeeping. BRHS has a D. O. department which gives students the opportunity to learn while working. Agricultural-minded students are taught farming in BRHS agricultural classes. During their high school years, students learn to understand and appreciate the principles of democracy. They learn basic skills and attitudes which will be necessary in their new social adjustment. In addition, students learn self-control, respect for others, responsibility, and cooperation. All these objectives which are taught to the students of BRHS help each student to lead a richer and fuller life.
