THE 1970 RUSSELLETTE Published By Annual Staff RUSSELL COUNTY VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL SCHOOL Cleveland, Va. 2 FOREWORD The Russeil County Vocational-Technical School was started in the fall of 1964 as a county program under the supervision of the local school board in cooperation with the Virginia State Department of Education. The faculty, staff, and students sincerely appreciate the enthusiastic support which they have received from the Russell County School Board, The Russell County Board of Supervisors, and the many fine people of the county who have with their money, voice, and deed encouraged our continued growth and development. Our obligation and our constant challenge is to provide the best educational program possible for the young people and adults of Russell County. We encourage your constructive comments and criticism and extend to you an invitation to participate along with us in the continued “growth and development of Russell County and its people”.
