'Si is kv :f s Steck F ills Administrative Vacanc Mr. Blaine Steck was appointed to the position of assistant superintendent of administration. He filled the vacancy created when Mr. Joseph Nesbit was ap- pointed superintendent after the death of Mr. Tom Foraker. The school board met on the first and third Thursday of each month. The pres- ident ofthe board, Mr. Bill Wall, was as- sisted in his tasks by Vice-President Dr. Bruce Buie. Other assistance was given by Paul Province, treasurer, and Mildred Harness, secretary. He was promoted to principal after Mr. Blaine Steck was named Assistant Superintendent of Administration. Assisting Mr. Cattle were Assisting Prin- cipals Mr. Kenneth Burkhart and Mr. Michael Boothe. Mr. Burkhart had juniors and seniors to work with, while Mr. Bootheis main concern was with the soph- omores. Mr. Boothe has been a part of RHS for eight years as an American His- tory teacher. He believes education is what's happeningv and with the help of Mrs. Cattle and Mr. Burkhart he intends to show this to the students. 1 Nobody said this job was going to be easy, says Mr. Boothe. 2 Mr. Burkhart reviews sched- ules. 3 Mr. Cattle plans for the future. 4 Mr. Cattle gets a promotion and keeps his smile. 5 Sure you can have my autograph, says Mr. Boothe. 6 It has to be here somewhere, states Mrs. Gfeller.
