ACTIVITIES OF THE EIGHTH GRADE The class elected officers for the first semester and also for the second semester, thus giving more pupils the opportunity to become acquainted with the work and duties of the different offices. The girls of tie class formed a Junior High Pep Club with Doris Talbot, Eleanor DeWitt, and Ardyth Haverkamp chosen as cheer leaders. The social activities of the year consisted of a Hallowe'en masquerade party with the seventh grade as guests, a Christmas party when the eighth grade were guests of the seventh grade. Both grades greatly enjoyed a Valentine dancing party and box social. A class party and picnic at the end of the year will always be remembered.
