Class Poem---June Stabler, Willis Gran, Clara Mae Talbot CLASS POEM In the fall of 'h7, thinking we were pretty smart, we twenty-one freshmen got off to a good startg The seniors soon taught us to follow the Golden Ruleg We were now members of the Rushville High School. We were sophisticated sophomores now, you see, Looking down on the freshmen as important as could beg How proud we were when those report cards were handed out, For we had made all of our credits, without a doubt. When we were juniors, our hearts began to sing, For we were expecting that class ringg And we had all the money earned on our class play, But we soon spent it on a banquet big and gay. Now we are seniors, all full of cheer, Eagerly looking forward to the end of the year, For our diplomas we hope to obtain, If in the faculty's good graces we can remain. ---June Stabler Willis Gran
