ELHSS PRUPHEEH On our summer vacation in 1956, we decided to look around and see what had become of our graduating class. In New York we found JUNE STABLER. She is now operating the June-Groom Beauty Shop. We visited JOAN GILLIAH'S school for secretaries, which has the distinction of , being the smallest in the world. Since it was a warm day and we were 2 thirsty, we stopped for a coke at FLORENCE HEESACKER'S Drip Drop Soda Fountain. Going on up to Alaska, we found DAVID DIERIEX trapping with his lovely Eskimo wife and five children. What a surprise it was to hear that GENE KLEVE was now Secretary of State of the United States. we found that ROBERT ARTHUR and CHARLES CHAHBERLAIN had gone to California. ROBERT is busy picking oranges in the day time and picking dates at night. CHARLES has made quite an attempt to take the place of Red Skelton in the hearts of the American people. We stumbled over ED LOOSVELT'S legs while he was lying in the shade under an apple tree and while his wife, Sandra, was trying out the latest milking machin on ED'S pet Holstien cow. WILLIS GRAN and Anabelle are now married and he is borrowing the car every night of the week. KATH RINE MOORE is now a famous cowgirl in the movies. Going on west, we found PATTY TALBOT and Wayne in Wyoming on a ranch. PATTY is very busy with the little Speers. DUANE CERNY and his brother-in-law, Bob Waterman, have started an old-time dance in Clinton. We found ANN KRIEGSHAUSER still in Rushville and happily married to Charles, who is now a prominent businessman. Ann is very proud of him, too. Going through Hay Springs, we saw CLARA MAE and Dean. They have their hands full taking care of the little Krugers. RALPH DYKES is now married and has ten children. He thinks he will have to start work soon in the glue factory. The last one we visited was GWEN JUNGCK. She is doing the rumba in the Hoochy-Koochy Night Club in Boston. She told us that RICHARD COFFEY is now a lion hunter in South Africa. ACTIVITIES OF THE JUNIOR CLASS we chose Mrs. Huff and Mr. Hill for our sponsors. Marilyn Edgell was elected Treasurer, Franklin Reeves, Vice-President, largaret Reeves, Presidentg and Helen Colwell, Secretary. It was the misfor- tune of our class to lose Helen Colwell when she became ill with polio shortly after school started. As she will not be able to attend school the rest of this year, we elected a new Secretary, Eleonora Rasmussen. Our first big venture of the year was our Junior Class Play, ME AND MY SHADOW, a three-act comedy presented to the public on December 5 On January 19, we were all thrilled to receive our class rings. To us they are nsupern-the best yet! Remember the class tournaments for the Polio Fund? The seniors gave us a pretty tough time of it, but we won by a score of L6 to 35. Fifteen rahs for the seniors! It is time now to start planning the Junior-Senior Banquet. We hope to have one that will be remembered by our seniors for a long time to come. Good luck to you, Seniors!
