The Spirit of Homecoming The brisk, chilly afternoon of Home- coming saw each of four classes victo- rious in some respect. The SENIOR men won over the Freshman boys in the male Tug-of-War competition. In the female Tug-of-War, the Junior women defeated the Sophomore girls. In a frog strangling overtime game, the Sophomore girls tripped the SEN- IOR women by a small margin in the Powder Puff football game. The Junior class was the victor in the Mini Games as they whipped the Greenie team. ln a show of dexterity and clever- ness, the SENIORS finished in first place with their magnificent show case. For the second consecutive year the Mayor's Trophy for the most out standing banner was won by the Freshman class. All in all, Homecoming afternoon was a shiveringly exciting time. A.
