An alarm clock explodes, a new day begins, and 683 RHSers pull out for the daily rush. Gulping breakfast, racing to school, fighting locker contents, and scrambling to beat the bell to class is timed to the second. Four periods of brain racking are offset with food and fun before dashing off to an activi- ties period. Back to the grind for two more periods - then the 3:30 bell. Add two rival football teams, two sets of leather-lunged stu- dents, the ompahs of xx number one band, a quartet of queen candidates and you have . . . Homecoming. Christy Ralstin, junior, captivated the hearts of the football men and was crowned queen. The only flaw in the performance was Greensburg's 2-0 victory over the Lions. But even that was forgotten at the Autumn Leaves dance that followed. We lost.
