In Memory The picture shows here, a boy reaching for manhood. But his being is not here for us to share, Leaving behind tears from where he stood. Never will we see his face, Nor his eyes so blue. His smile will never fade our memory, Or the way he spoke to me and you. Some may say his soul is still searching For Cod's blue and white heavenly skies. But the answer lies not in their brains— He is at rest in paradise. His love was like a token. Cherished, played with, and even broken. To some it was a painful thing when lost— Taking loved one's hearts. Through blurred eyes which believed That such a memory will ever part. His warmth reminded us of a sunrise Beaming forth through a radiant heart. Let not the memories be sad and tearful; But think on him as he once was. Though many of us knew him not. His lire, so short, still had a cause. Dean Alvin Meldahl was born April 3, 1957, the son of Alvin and Lorraine Meldahl.
