SCHOOL BOARD . . . Herb Thompson. Chairman; Wilton Heiden, Treasurer; D. W. Evans, Superintendent; Kermit Holger, Clerk; Dr. John R. Peterson, Allen Howe, Vernon Gilbertson. These members of the Board of Education have the necessary foresight which enables the school to be the efficient organization that it is. The many duties include; recruiting programs, financial matters, improving high school welfare, promoting school status and public relations. These men are the backbone of our high school. ADMINISTRATION AT WORK FOR US. Superintendent Mr. Evans compares notes with his secretary, Mrs. Elvira Berg. Mr. Evans is never too busy to confer with students and keeps their best interest in mind. Although at times we did not agree with him, we respected his judgment and valued his advice. Our school is also fortunate to have Mrs. Berg for secretary. She is efficient and is always willing to extend help to students and teachers. 10

Here’s one that you’ll find interesting......Mr. Miller, our counselor, stands ready to guide you to a brighter future. Mr. Warren Miller is R.H.S. student counselor. His primary function is to assist the individual student with educational, vocational, and personal problems as they arise. Mr. Miller is also concerned with getting part-time employment for students. His efforts result in making the student feel more secure at school.
