Bountiful? I'm going, do you understand? D E C L A M A T I O N Then I've lostI In mid-December Mrs. Hatleli began working with contestants to prepare them for the local contest on February 7-contest play, The Trip to Bountiful was cast in early January. Rushford students made fine showings at the various contests, and we can all be proud of our director, Mrs. Hatleli. As there was no speech class this year, all work had to be done in the students' and advisers' spare time. 29

Ihe F. S A. had a very special year. First of all, on October 8 Rushford was host to the i960 District Meeting which turned out to be a huge success. For the December project they went caroling and gave gifts to the persons at the Rest Home and packed good will baskets for the needy. On January 28 the Sno-Ball was held with the Top Hats providing the music for the enjoyable evening. The State Meeting was a highlight of the year, for at it Kathy Miller was installed as State President. She also attended the National Meeting. A fruitful yeaf is the only phrase that fits i960 for the F. H. A.
