• • I 4 We, the Senior Class of Rushford High School, have chosen to dedicate our annual to the people we respect and admire more than any other persons with whom we have cone in contact. Our parents are the only ones who have beoiwith us from the first moment we saw light; in our defenseless years of childhood they protected us with all the care they had; and throughout the remainder of our lives, in the difficult years as well as the easy, they will always be there to provide that something that only the love and unselfishness of parents can give. Therefore, with all the gratefulness end appreciation we can show, we dedicate this annual to our parents, that they may know in some 6mall way the eternal thanks which we can never show, but will always feel in our hearts. eruors SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS What _s n Senlor; What has he done? CAST Jumpin' Jupiter was the class production of the seniors of i960. Thi6 three act comedy presented the plight of four young Broadway aspirants as they inadvertently come into possession of $50,000 ransom money. Fearing both Baby-face Ben, the Kidnapper, and the police, they search for a method to dispose of the money. Threading their way through a plot interspersed with the actions of several uproarious characters, they finally come to a happy ending in this rollicking story. The year 1959-1960 was a very profitable one for the Sophomores. They started the year out right by decorating the goal posts in our traditional colors for the homecoming game. They served the refreshments for the homecoming dance, and their class float won second prize in the parade. Another very exciting event was initiation, when they took out their revenge on the Freshmen. In return for this, the Freshmen gave them a return party, which was enjoyed by everyone. Keep pushing forward, Sophomores. Your goal lies ahead. SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS Front Row L. to R.rTreas.: Woman Meyer, Sec.: Bonnie Anderson. Row 2: Vice Pros.: Glenn Bakken, Pres.: Bonnie Heiden. The setting takes place in the heme of Hans, the showmaker, who is played by Fred Colbenson. Hans thinks that his wife, played by Jean Pfeifer, doesn t love him any more. To test his wife's love for him, he enlists the assistance of Fritz, played by Roger Nelson, who doesn't seem to catch on to the plan. Hans plays dead, to fool his wife and to see if she still loves him, but the wife is not easily fooled by this plan. Fran then oi everyone is in for hilarious action and surprises aplenty. It was the story of Karen Andre, who was accused of murdering her employer, Mr. Bjorn Faulkner. The whole play seemed very real; and it touched the hearts of many of the jurors, who were chosen from the audience. It was a very full day for the play cast; and with heavy eyelids and light hearts, they made their way home to a soft bed and a peaceful night's sleep at last.
