The Rushford High School Band began the school year by playing at the football games and taking part in the Homecoming parade. In the fall, the members presented the annual fall concert at which time the junior members were awarded with pins. During basketball season, the band entertained the x’ans with very fine music. Soon after, rehearsing for the spring concert began. Majorettes B. Morken, C. Betz, D. Sennes, J. Kinneberg FIRST The senior members gave their last performance at this time. Individuals, and the band as a group, were tested on their achievements at the instrumental music contest also held in the spring. It is now the end of the year, and the positions held by the seniors are being filled by new members. Preparations are under way for the baccalaureate and commencement exercises which take place in Kay. The marching band will make its final appearance of the school year in the Memorial Day Services.
