ALMA MATER SCHOOL FLAG CONTEST Where the hills of Allegheny Meet the western blue, Proudly stands our Rushford Central Glorious to view. Our school days will soon be ended, But our pledge of love To our school and to each other We shall strive to prove. Filled with joy and trust and courage, With our flag unfurled, Eager now to prove our merit For a better world. Lift the chorus, speed it forward, Honor is the rule! Hail to thee our Alma Mater, Hail, all hail, our school. Commencement June 24, 1967 Valedictory We Are The Seniors Being Very Important Before The Procession — And It Was Hot Inside This Is The Time Of Final Adjusting Of Cap And Gown Terry Randolph was a member of the Class of 1967. He came to Rushford Central School in September, 1961. In the years he was with us, we found in him a friend who was always gentle and understanding; a classmate who was genuinely concerned with the school’s activities; an able competitor on the basketball court, the soccer field, and the track field; a student who was conscien- tious, alert and inquiring. Terry exemplified the best in a young man, and it is for these qualities that we remember him. A memorial, most appropriate to Terry’s love of athletics, is in our gymnasium— a score-board which was presented to RCS by relatives and friends of Terry. It was first used during the 1965-1966 basketball season. OFFICE STAFF Mr. Herbert Crandall. Treasurer; Mrs. Reed Gilbert. Secretary; Mr. Thomas Davies. Clerk of the Board. PRINCIPAL Mr. W. W. SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS President: Don Mountain; Vice-President: Tom Mc- Elheny; Secretary: Rosanne Johnson; Treasurer: Margaret Swain. Mr. William Waring, our class advisor, came to Rushford when we were freshmen. He has seen us through our four years of high school, and, as was said on awards night, perhaps he found advising us a little too much. Mr. Waring is leaving Rushford Central for a position at West Valley. We have enjoyed his teaching and fellowship. And we certainly must pay tribute to him for taking most of the pictures in this yearbook. We are grateful for all he has done for us. —The Seniors Tom McElheny David Pettit Shirley Duvall Margaret Swain Ricky Karcher John Typhair David Thornton David Clark Roger Clark Bill Brown James Swain Don Mountain Gary Gilbert Annette Cartwright Collieen Griffin John Morgan Dan Williams Ken Geist Dennis Barber Margaret Steele Jean Simons James Barr Laura Wilmot Sharon Woodruff Rosanne Johnson Having spent four years raising money for our Senior trip in April, we are inserting these pictures to remind us of some highlights of the trip. We owe much to our parents, friends, and school for making our annual trip possible.
