-ith Library Club extends service The Library Club is working toward improving its service to students, the supply of new books and magazines, and the index system. Anyone who is in Study Hall in grades 7-12 may be a member. Duties include index filing, checking out books to students, and keeping magazines and books shelves in order. The elub's motto is to extend service , promote interest in books, and increase book circulation throughout the student body. Projects of the Library Club include a book sale and a visit to the University of Tennessee Library. UU Library Club members. FIRST ROW: D. Keirsey, S. Cate and M. Adams. Key Club helps modernize school The Key,Club built an incinerator for the lunch room as one of their projects in September. To be a member of the Key Club, a boy must meet the following qual- ifications: obtain and maintain a C average or above, and be elected to membership by the present club members. Members are limited to 35 per clubg the Rush Strong Club has 20 members. There cannot be more than ten members from each class in grades 9 - 12. The Key Club's basic goal is to build character and responsibility, as well as to improve the school campus. One project to fulfill this goal is cleaning the school grounds on Saturdays. The Key Club is selling tickets to the Tennessee - Notre Dame fresh- men iootball game, the club will receive 2596 or the profit and the remaining 7596 will go to the Children's Hospital in Knoxville. QAJ Announcing the coming ballgame is Stanley Loy, Terry Russell and Kenneth Cate.
