F.H.A. paves the way toward new horizons F.H.A. 'ers sold stationery during the month of October as one of their projects toward raising money. To qualify for F. H. A. , girls must have at least one year of Home Economics or be presently enrolled before joining. Membership is limited to girls in grades 9-12. It is designed to promote better homemaking and to improve home life. For those who would like to achieve awards, there are junior and Chapter Degrees. For a higher award, there is a State Degree, which is the highest degree possible. Two elected delegates from the Rush Strong Chapter attend the annual State Convention held this year in Nashville on April 20-21, The State Degree earners have an opportunity to attend the convention. F.C.A. supports church life The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Girl's Auxiliary listened to an introductory tape of the orga- nization in December and viewed a film strip presented at a meeting held in january. The central purpose of the F.C.A. and the Girl's Auxiliary is to support and strengthen the church as well as the individual. It is an excellent influence and a fine opportunity for spiritual growth. The F.C.A. and Girl's Auxiliary consists of ordinary men and women, who work together to make a better life for themselves and others through God.
