Baseball team is short on age but long on determination This is probably the youngest team in the school's his- tory. However, the Plainsmen have some promising young talent returning for the '72 season. QAJ A main stay behind the plate and one of the team's most consistent hitters is Roger Beason. Athletics play an important part in a students life To the observer, athletics may appear to be merely physical. But if the observer will take time to think, he will realize that through and by means of experi- ences which are generally associated with physical ac- tivity, there are emotional, personality, and intellec- tual ingredients as well. KAQ The cheerleaders yell loud to get the crowd en- thused. QBJ Smiling happily, while being crowned, is Linda Cameron, the 1971-72 Homecoming Queen.
